Nepal: why you should travel with us

Namaste!

Thank you for considering Trek Climb Ski Nepal for an adventure in the Nepal Himalaya. We aim to provide you with an unforgettable experience in one of the world’s most remarkable high-altitude places. Our service is a key reason why people come back to travel with us again. They get a level of personal service before, during and after their trip that the big companies just don’t deliver.

By travelling with us, you’re getting know-how honed on Mt Everest and a two-decade track record of delivering uncompromising high-altitude client service to small groups. Our service starts before you go with access to personalised advice on equipment and preparation and our online communities for extra support. It continues through your arrival at Kathmandu airport where you’re met by our Sherpa team who will deliver you to your hotel and then guide you around Nepal’s bustling capital.

On the trail, our Sherpas and porters help you through the tough days with a smile, and help you share. We know them all personally; and we have trekked or climbed some of the highest peaks in the Himalaya with almost all of them. Also, we don’t charge you any extra for what you eat on the mountain – like some companies do. We understand that defeats the purpose of keeping you well fed, hydrated and properly acclimatised.

As your adventure comes to an end, we celebrate your experience over dinner, help you rest up at your hotel and deliver you safely back to Kathmandu airport. We’re also uncompromising about seeking your feedback on your experience so we can improve it for you and others next time.

Another reason why people return to travel with us is trust. They know we know Nepal as well as anyone and the people who work for us are like family. When I first visited Nepal in 2001, I was unaware of the profound impact it would have on my life: it is now my second home. In 2005, I climbed Mt Everest and over the past decade and a half I’ve been fortunate to summit more than 20 Himalayan peaks. In 2003, I lost one of my close friends near the summit of Cho Oyu. Beside me was Tika Tamang, the veteran mountaineer who supported me like a brother, and who now leads our Nepal operations.

You are on the cusp of a life-influencing experience. The majesty and tranquillity of the mountains will take your breath away. The courage and humility of your Nepali guides will inspire you. And the wonderful madness that is Kathmandu will cast a spell. We’re privileged to be about to share that with you.

Safe travels.
