Mera Peak is a challenging 23-day expedition. This is the perfect introduction to mountaineering in Nepal for those wanting to try high altitude mountaineering for the first time. The climbing route on Mera Peak is never technical or steep but it is a long 3 day slog up the glacier to the top. The views from the summit of Mera Peak are some of the best you will ever get in Nepal. In our opinion they are the best views – hands down – from the summit of any 6000m peak in Nepal. Where else can you lay eyes on five of the six highest mountains in the world in the one panorama? The only mountain missing from the highest six mountains in the world is K2, which is far off in Pakistan.
