News just in from Tika that our team has been successful in reaching Everest Base Camp. After the mandatory high-fives, celebrations and of course lunch, the group made their way slowly back to Gorak Shep and are now resting up. An awesome effort by Chris, Chris, Dave, Paul, Anne, Richard, Peter and Pauline. And of course well done to Tika and our fantastic Sherpa leaders on another successful guiding effort.

From everyone at Trek Climb Ski Nepal, congratulations to you all on a fantastic achievement. Success like yours doesn’t come without a great deal of determination and effort. Not to mention you have all trekked the the long way around the Everest Circuit in order to get there! Learn more about a trek with us to Everest Base Camp.

Today our team will begin the trek back to Lukla. The great thing about the Everest Circuit (as opposed to a standard Base Camp trek) is that they’ll be continuing in a new direction and visiting places they’re yet to have seen. The trip back to Lukla will take around 5 days and today they’ll walk to Dingboche. Dingboche is at around 4400m and they’ll begin to notice – with every step they take – the air becoming thicker and breathing becoming easier.
