The Everest Circuit Nepal

April 4, 2015

For Chris, Chris, Dave, Paul, Anne, Richard, Peter and Pauline – the Everest Circuit Nepal is a done deal! The team arrived back in Lukla yesterday which is where it all began almost 3 weeks ago.

An update of our team’s progress on our “Follow Us LIVE” page provides a fantastic snapshot of their journey to date. All of us at Trek Climb Ski Nepal thank Tika for his great work with our satellite tracker. Visit our Follow Us Live page and view the interactive Google Map. As you zoom in on the many “check-in locations” mapped by our crew, you can see clearly the Sherpa villages and landmarks they’ve visited along the way. Not to mention the many spectacular Himalayan mountains that have surrounded them each day of their trip.

The team have done an excellent job getting photos out along the way and we’ve uploaded more of these images in the above gallery. A special mention must go to David Carolan for his great work on the photos and his Facebook updates. No mean feat Dave… from one who knows. The Everest Circuit Nepal is one of the world’s greatest trekking adventures. The below above it!

Farewell to the Everest Circuit Nepal

Our team is right on schedule and if the weather goods do the right thing they’ll be flying back to Kathmandu today. Our final night parties at Lukla have become the stuff of legend so hopefully we’ll have some photos soon from last night’s celebrations. The final night party at Lukla (Namaste Lodge) is usually worthy of a post by itself!

The team will spend a night at The Radisson in Kathmandu and will then head to Tika’s house on the outskirts of Kathmandu for a traditional Nepalese feast and farewell drinks.

Watch a video from the summit of Gokyo Ri – a highlight of any Everest Circuit adventure.
