It’s an exciting time for all of us here at Trek Climb Ski Nepal. On the back of a very successful inaugural Resilience for Teens Everest Base Camp Program last year, our partner company, Resilience Builders, has now launched under it’s own banner.

Specialising in resilience building programs, Resilience Builders designs and facilitates a wide range of programs for teenagers, schools, community groups, athletes and teams. Some of the outcomes from our Resilience for Teens programs include:

  • Improved ability to recover quickly from setbacks (resilience)
  • Understanding and applying positive health and wellness strategies
  • An introduction to leadership for teens
  • Great connecting time for parents and their kids

Watch this short video to learn more about our Resilience for Teens Everest Base Camp Programs.

What you don’t learn in this video is that 26 out of 26 participants made it successfully all the way to Everest Base Camp. The entire team made it fit, healthy and absolutely enjoying the experience. A testament to Resilience Builders’ uncompromising commitment to safety and a thorough acclimatisation schedule.

It’s no surprise really given the Resilience Builders support crew are our very own Trek Climb Ski Nepal leaders and guides. Tika, Sanduk, Lhakpa, Karman and Dor all produced a fantastic team effort running this program. They are no strangers to running trekking and climbing trips, but with the Resilience for Teens Program format and syllabus, this was a very different trip for them.

Resilience Builders is also proud to announce their new partnerships with the NICK Foundation and Reach Foundation. Facilitators from both of these youth-led organisations joined our inaugural Resilience for Teens Everest Base Camp Program and did an incredible job.
