Our Annapurna Circuit Treks

After 2 exciting nights in Kathmandu, we hit the road and travel in our private vehicle to Jagat. The next day, we begin our trek along the Marsyandi Valley and through the many Hindu villages along the route. The mountains are slowly revealed and we take in our first views of the stunning main Annapurna range.

We travel through lush forests and small villages. Everyone we meet is incredibly friendly. Ascending further we arrive in Manang and enjoy uninterrupted views of Annapurna III and Gangapurna. En route to Thorong Phedi, we stay just below the famous Thorong La pass at 5416m. We cross the pass and marvel at Dhaulagiri rising an impressive 8167m from the valley below.

After a long descent to Muktinath and take a well-earned rest. Here the landscape has changed dramatically and we can see the southern tip of the barren Upper Mustang region. We trek from Muktinath to Jomosom and it feels like we’re in an old western movie. From here we take an incredible mountain flight to Pokhara and settle in for a wonderful night of celebration beside the beautiful Phewa Tal lake. Our Annapurna Circuit Trek concludes the following day as we fly back to Kathmandu.

Our Short Annapurna Trek includes 3 nights at The Radisson Hotel (breakfasts included) in Kathmandu. Trek Climb Ski Nepal also provide a complimentary welcome dinner with drinks in Kathmandu on the first evening of your trip. While trekking in the mountains, you will stay in the best available lodges and tea houses along the route.

This trip includes all meals while you are out trekking in the mountains. Morning and afternoon tea is also provided each day you are trekking. Unlimited safe (thoroughly boiled) drinking water is also provided each day you are in the mountains.

Meals in the Annapurna region of Nepal are not cheap. If you were to purchase your own meals from the lodges we stay at on this trek, your total food cost would be more than AUD $1,000.

We proudly employ an all you can eat food and fluids policy on all our trips. Proper food intake and regular hydration are critical to safe altitude acclimatisation. In our opinion, trekking companies that leave food decisions and the purchase of food for their clients to manage (when trekking at altitude) are grossly irresponsible. Trekking companies often do this because it enables them to advertise a much lower (but unrealistic) trip price. Be sure to choose a tour operator that includes all your meals and safe drinking water in your trip price.
