Our short Annapurna Trek is often referred to as the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek. This is the perfect trip for the first-time Nepal trekker. It’s also a great option for those not wanting the challenge of trekking at high altitude. Your adventure begins with two nights in Kathmandu. From here you’ll travel in our private bus to Pokhara. After a night in Pokhara you’ll wake to splendid mountain views across Phewa Lake. After breakfast we drive to the border of the Annapurna Conservation Area.
Here we farewell our driver and begin our journey on foot. Over the next few days we’ll slowly ascend through lush rhododendron and oak forests. We pass through the many villages in this region and are warmly welcomed by the locals. Along the way you’ll spend nights at Landruck, Chomrong and Tadapani. Each day you’ll enjoy spectacular and uninterrupted views of the main Annapurna range. Views images in our Annapurna trek photo gallery.
Travelling further east we’ll spend a night at Ghorepani. Starting early the next morning we’ll climb Poon Hill (3340m) for unsurpassed views of this mountain sanctuary. The following day we finish our trek at Naya Pul then drive back to Pokhara. We enjoy a night out celebrating with our guides and porters in Pokhara. The next day you’ll enjoy a scenic mountain flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu you can catch up on some final shopping or relax poolside at The Radisson.
