Highlights

We’re incredibly proud to offer our Real Kathmandu experience. This is an invitation from us to spend a day or two with Trek Climb Ski Nepal co-founder Tika Tamang and his family at Chateau Tamang in Kathmandu. This has become a very popular add-on for many of our returning guests at the end of their trip. You may wish to consider this as the start of your adventure in Nepal – it’s entirely up to you.

Our Real Kathmandu inclusions

You’ll stay in Tika and Mina’s beautiful home on the outskirts of Kathmandu in the Himalayan foothills. Their elevated position provides stunning 360° views of Kathmandu and the greater Kathmandu valley. Your accomodation is the entire second floor of their home. This level features 2 large bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom, toilet and free Wi-Fi. You’ll have access to the entire house including the roof-top for spectacular views. 3 traditional Nepalese meals per day are also included in this package. We can’t talk up the food enough – it really is a highlight you’ll never forget. And it always involves way more than you can eat!

Our Real Kathmandu experience also includes transfers to and from Kathmandu airport or, if you’re already in Kathmandu, your hotel or current location. A sightseeing tour of the local area and the Kopan Monastery is also included. This 2-day package is designed to provide you with an authentic and cultural Nepalese experience. You’ll enjoy incredible food and hospitality and learn all about our people and their way of life in Nepal. If you can find an extra day or two for your holiday, then consider spending it with our family in Kathmandu. We guarantee you’ll love it and you’ll make new friends for life.
