At Namche we take in our first views of Everest and many other Himalayan giants. The following day we’ll visit the local monastery and seek a blessing from the Lama before a visit to the Everest View Hotel later that morning. You also have the option of a day trek to Thame or to Khumjung and Khunde. Visit the Sir Edmund Hillary School or just relax and enjoy another day in Namche Bazaar. Either way it’s your decision and our guides will be more than happy to provide advice and lead the way.

This short Everest trek is a moderately challenging high altitude adventure. You’ll enjoy the renowned Trek Climb Ski Nepal level of service and expertise from our experienced team of guides and porters. We designed this short trek for the time-poor that want to see Mt Everest and experience trekking in Nepal. Although short in duration, we still don’t compromise when it comes to a safe and thorough acclimatisation schedule.

Lodges in Phakding on the way to Everest Base Camp

Our Everest Circuit Trek includes 2 nights at the famous Hotel Yak and Yeti (breakfasts included) in Kathmandu. Trek Climb Ski Nepal also provide a complimentary welcome dinner with drinks in Kathmandu on the first evening of your trip. While trekking in the mountains, you will stay in the best available lodges and tea houses along the route.

This trip includes 6 breakfasts, 5 lunches and 5 dinners while you are on trek in the mountains. Morning and afternoon tea is also provided each day you are trekking. Unlimited safe (thoroughly boiled) drinking water is also provided each day you are in the mountains.

Meals in the Everest region of Nepal are not cheap. If you were to purchase your own meals from the lodges we stay at on this trek, your total food cost would be around AUD $400.

We proudly employ an all you can eat food and fluids policy on all our trips. Proper food intake and regular hydration are critical to safe altitude acclimatisation. In our opinion, trekking companies that leave food decisions and the purchase of food for their clients to manage (when trekking at altitude) are grossly irresponsible. Trekking companies often do this because it enables them to advertise a much lower (but unrealistic) trip price. Be sure to choose a tour operator that includes all your meals and safe drinking water in your trip price.
