Overview

Mardi Himal Trek โ€“ A Hidden Gem

Our Mardi Himal Trek combines the best of the Annapurna region with the serenity of a lesser-known trail, offering a truly authentic Himalayan experience. At 4,200 metres, the Mardi Himal Viewpoint provides some of the most breathtaking panoramas in Nepal, making it the ideal adventure for trekkers ready to explore a quieter yet equally spectacular corner of the Himalayas. The journey takes us through Gurung villages and peaceful ridgelines overlooking the Modi Khola valley, with warm local hospitality and ever-changing views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Peak), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.

From Forest Camp, we ascend through Low Camp and High Camp as the peaks begin to dominate the skyline. The ridgeline walk offers sweeping vistas of the Annapurna range, and at Mardi Himal Base Camp our efforts are rewarded with close-up views of Machhapuchhreโ€™s dramatic face and the snow-capped giants of the region – a fitting finale to one of Nepalโ€™s most peaceful trekking adventures.

Mardi Himal Summit Experience

After an early morning start, we hike up to Mardi Himal Viewpoint (4,200m) to catch the sunrise over the Himalayas. The scene is truly unforgettable – golden light illuminating the peaks of Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, and the striking Fishtail. We spend time capturing photos, soaking in the views, and celebrating the achievement before descending back to High Camp and then onward to Siding Village.
