Climbing in Nepal

Success on any Himalayan mountain only comes as the result of solid preparation, planning and a determination to continue when things get hard. Safety and success also depend heavily on a great team, great teamwork and a no short-cuts approach. Staying healthy, plenty of food and fluids and a strict acclimatisation schedule round out the key elements to being successful above 6000m. Congratulations on finding us.

We offer a broad range of mountaineering expeditions in Nepal designed to suit all experience and ability levels. If you’ve never worn crampons or clipped onto a rope before then consider Mera Peak as your starting point. We rate Mera Peak as the best introductory high altitude mountaineering trip going. You’ll experience three full days climbing on the snow and ice. Base Camp at 5400m and High Camp at 5800 give you a solid taste of the routines involved and how it feels operating at altitude. Summit day begins at 2am and you’ll be standing on top of Mera (6476m) by around 9am.

We guarantee you’ll never forget successfully climbing your first Himalayan giant.
