If you’re considering going on an Everest Base Camp hike and you’d like your friends and family to be able to follow your progress from home then read on. Trek Climb Ski Nepal are now incorporating “follow-us-live” technology across a wide range of their expeditions, including their renowned Everest Base Camp hike. Learn more about our Everest Base Camp trek.
The way it works is simple. Our Sherpa trip leaders and guides will now be carrying one of our satellite SPOT tracking systems. When an Everest Base Camp hike commences, we’ll activate the tracking system which will start plotting the position of the expedition on Google maps. We’ll have the Google maps up and running on our website so visitors can see in real-time the progress and position of the group. Like we said, simple!
And when we have multiple trips running at once, this system will still be very easy to navigate and interact with. All the visitor will need to do is select the relevant trip from our list of those that are currently running, click the link and done.
We GPS track your Everest Base Camp hike
So if you’re looking to join an Everest Base Camp hike and like the idea of your friends, family and maybe even work colleagues being able to follow your mountain journey, then be sure to contact us at Trek Climb Ski Nepal. Our “follow-us-live” technology is also a great feature for those trekking or climbing in Nepal that may be wanting to raise awareness for a cause or specific fundraising effort. Those wanting to recognise and promote a sponsor while away would also find this technology very beneficial.
