This is a significantly different experience to all the other Trek Climb Ski Nepal adventures you’ll find on our website.
The main difference being is for this trip, we are contracting a private helicopter charter company for 3 separate flights.
To advertise this trip with the necessary lead time and then to schedule these flights in line with our advertised dates and itinerary, Trek Climb Ski Nepal must pay for these services well in advance.
The helicopter costs are by far the biggest cost component of this trip. To make this trip as cost-effective as possible, the advertised price of the Everest Base Camp for Over 50s requires there being 4 guests travelling on each helicopter.
As a result, you will have noticed that this trip is advertised as requiring a group size of 4 or 8 in order to be sold at the advertised price.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
The Trek Climb Ski Nepal cancellation policy in our booking terms and conditions is as follows:
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your trip, you must notify Trek Climb Ski Nepal in writing. Once Trek Climb Ski Nepal receives your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:
- If cancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to your departure date, your full deposit will be forfeited.
- If cancellation takes place between 60 and 35 days prior to your departure date 50% of the trip price will be forfeited.
- If cancellation takes place less than 35 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the trip price will be forfeited.
The cancellation policy for the Everest Base Camp Over 50s trip differs for this trip in that any cancellation made more than 35 days prior to your departure will incur a minimum cost being 50% of the total trip price.
The main reason for this amendment being that helicopter costs per person are fixed and a trip will only be confirmed as running once minimum numbers (i.e. 4 or 8) have been reached for any particular trip.
